Lauren Burnham, CMT, TRS-C is a Certified Sports Massage Therapist and a Movement and Mobility Specialist. She has a Bachelors in Science from the University of New Hampshire. It was during that time  at college that she experienced significant injuries as an equestrian and long distance runner. She used physical therapy and massage as a means of recovery and it changed her perspective on the use of soft tissue manipulation for healing both acute and chronic injuries.

Lauren's journey of self discovery began while working in the biotechnology field. Dissatisfied with the laboratory environment, she found her calling at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego and then continued her education with Dr. Kelly Starrett, founder of The Ready State. Through the years of her private practice she has become one of the most sought after massage therapists in San Diego, specializing in Injury Rehabilitation and Prevention.  She is the recent winner of the San Diego Award for Massage.
